NEWS FROM NIKON
Nikon is intoducing the D700 Digital SLR. It will have a "full frame" sensor
equivalent in size to traditional 35mm film. No mental conversion will be
necessary to convert focal length from 35mm terminology to digital
terminolgy. The D700 will have a 12.1 megapixel sensor. Expected ship date
is early August. Price is expected to be in the $3000 range. Nikon also
announced the SB-900 flash and three new PC lenses.
