"Melissa's Photo Restoration Class". This course will include how to retouch old photographs using Adobe PhotoShop (r) CS2/CS4. Learn how to repair tears and scratches, and how to adjust and repair the color of an image.
"On-camera Flash". Limitations and potentials for built-in and shoe mounted flashes will be covere., Different light modifiers for on-camera flash will be presented.
"Nikon D300s DSLR Cameras". Learn the features of the new Nikon D300s camera.

NEW WORKSHOP
Steve has developed a Saturday workshop combining his "Setting Up a Home Studio" and "How to take Portraits" workshops. Use of the Westcott two and three Strobelight systems will be addressed. Complimentary reservations will be given to anyone who has purchased one of these outfits. The first workshop is scheduled at 10 a.m. in conjunction with our "Saturday After Thanksgiving Open House and Sale".

Softbox our softbox for shoe-mount flash units?

This is a 15x15 inch softbox designed for shoe-mount flash units. It's made of heavy black fabric with a silver reflective interior. It folds flat quickly and easily with no metal ribs or bars to assemble. The rear shroud prevents light loss through the rear of the unit. PRICE REDUCTION
Canon announced a one hundred dollar reduction of price for the Canon EOS T1 DSLR with the 28-135mm lens. The new price is $799.99.

STAFFING UPDATE
Murray has accepted a position with a local stock brokerage firm and will be leaving us this month. An "Ole Miss" graduate, Murray has been a member of our sales staff for three years and is our resident expert on all of our cameras. She knows as much, or more, than the manufacturers tech reps. A problem solver and all-round knowlege base of everything in the store, Murray will be missed.

PHOTO EXHIBITIONS
"William Christenberry: Land/Memory" at the Sarah Moody Gallery of Art, University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. The internationally known artist is a native of Tuscaloosa and a graduate of the University. His exhibit will feature photographs, sculpture and drawings. He will lecture 5:00, November 5th at the Gorgas Library. A reception will follow.
