LECTURE
“Through the Lens of Adam Jones”
Join world renowned photographer Adam Jones in the Samford University Planetarium at 7:00 PM on Friday, May 22. Adam's program is free of charge and open to the public. All you need to do is show up. Adam's "Through the Lens of Adam Jones" program will include distinctive images of nature, flowers, wildlife, birds, culture and scenic attractions he has captured during his photo expeditions around the world. While presenting this program, Adam will give general photo tips, advice, and discuss what he was thinking as he set up and took the picture. He will also encourage audience participation via questions throughout the program.
In addition Adam will conduct a "Getting The Most From Your Digital Camera” workshop for serious photographers at the Botanical Gardens on Saturday, May 23. What is planned is a morning classroom lecture/ discussion regarding photo methods using digital cameras and then (weather permitting) we plan to drive to the Cahaba lilies site in the afternoon giving participants an opportunity to put into practice some of the techniques learned.
